The Watermog Rescue series is the culmination of years of hard work and R&D, it is an amazing piece of equipment. It is the most unique and versatile product of its kind, equally adept in incredibly diverse water environments.
Watermog 1
Watermog 1 is the base model for all our human powered operations. It is our original Open Water Rescue Boat and is equally adept in many different water environments. It is the most stable, best self-righting, and has the most floatation of any of our boats. This makes it the best choice for swift water and flood rescue. It is excellent in Low Head Dams especially when the preferred entry points are on the upstream side of the dam. The Type 1 makes an excellent dive platform and has an extremely low draft allowing the boat to be operated in 6” of water making it extremely useful in urban flood rescue.

Watermog 2
Watermog 2 is exactly the same boat as the Watermog Type 1, the only difference is the equipment that goes on each of them. The Watermog 2 comes standard with an transom mount and set of seats. Allowing this boat to carry the required 60hp outboard motor. This boat is designed for Rescue Teams whose primary need is a light weight, motorized boat that can be rapidly deployed and function safely in extremely adverse conditions. It is the ideal choice for law enforcement patrolling shorelines and river systems especially in our State and National Parks. This model has been clocked at speeds in excess of 40 mph in the open ocean and surfed 20’ waves during winter storms in the Pacific as well as demonstrating the ability to be launched in 6’- 8’ beach breaking surf.

WATERmOG 3
Watermog 3 is simply a smaller version of the Watermog 2. This boat was designed for the rescue team that desires a smaller, lighter, more responsive boat. While the Watermog 3 is not as fast as the Watermog 2, top speed being 35 mph, it more than makes up for it with the ability to turn, de-accelerate and then accelerate to top speed, which are huge advantages in powerful low head dam rescue and in ocean surf rescue. Unlike the Watermog 2 which requires a 60 hp motor, the Watermog 3 commonly runs with a 40 or 50hp motor and in some instances can be effective with a motor as small as a 30hp. This weight difference makes the logistics of loading and unloading easier.
